Red Sea Crossing

Exodus 14:22 (KJV)

And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

When people think of Old Testament miracles, the one they most often think of is the parting of the Red Sea. But where exactly did it happen? Most people assume it happened on this side:

Red Sea False Locations

Which I guess makes sense? I mean, they were fleeing Egypt and Egypt is literally, like, right there! But That doesn’t match what the Bible says. It’s very specific where they went, giving exact distances and everything. Ron Wyatt followed the Bible, literally, and found this:

It led him directly to the exact location of the crossing. Here is the location on Google Maps. He and his sons dove in the water and found Egyptian chariot wheels and other artifacts that only make sense in the context of the crossing. Not only that, the water is shallower from shore to shore in that spot. On either side of that spot, the water is much deeper. Almost as if God knew from the beginning He’d need that spot shallower. This video goes  more detail. It’s narrated by Mary Nell Wyatt, his wife.

But wait… If the crossing was actually on the east arm of the Red Sea, why is the traditional location of Mount Sinai in the Sinai Peninsula?  Emperor Constantine’s mother liked the mountain, so she said it had to be Sinai. If Ron Wyatt found the location of the Red Sea crossing, certainly he must have also discovered the location of the real Mount Sinai! Funny you mention that, because…

    • lol Typing it now. Technically I could have done them together in one post, but I do consider them two separate discoveries. Separate, they’re both incredible finds. Together, they tell one amazing story. Thus, a two-part post.

  1. You don’t have to wait, Maria. Go to Ron Wyatt’s site and learn not only about this, but about the Lord causing this very humble and godly man to discover the ark of the covenant, likely hidden during Nebuchabnezzar’s siege of Jerusalem under Mount Moriah, right beneath the precise site where Jesus was crucified. Remember the earthquake immediately after He breathed His last breath, and the spear piercing His side causing blood to flow? Well, where do you think God had the Lamb’s blood flow… and yes, He had Ron discover it and have it tested (as expected, half normal chromosome count).
I kid you not. Although Ron reported it to the Jewish antiquities people, the Lord is keeping it hidden there; I believe He will have it revealed to one of the 144,000 sealed Jewish tribulation saints…

      • Yes, the Lord had me spend hours on the Wyatt website, and watching marine biologists’ films of the coral-encrusted chariots in the Red Sea, and of others’ films of Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia. It is sooo typical of the Lord to give such discoveries to truly humble servants, and in such “bizarre” ways, too! I was so touched by it all, perhaps the most when I realized Jesus’ blood DID land on the literal mercy seat…

      • My favourite part of his story actually is one that’s often forgotten, and has God’s plan written all over it. Ron was having trouble getting permission to excavate the cave he later found the Ark in because I guess the Israeli government didn’t trust him or something. So he figured since they were there they wouldn’t waste the trip. He and his sons went swimming at this ancient lake and he trips over this old pottery containing ancient scrolls. It turned out to be some priceless lost Jewish artifact, and the Israeli government gave him permission to excavate.
